My niece is a member of the NY National Guard and in the fall of 2007 she received her deployment orders. She was to leave for Iraq after the holidays leaving her 2 year son behind. So that my niece could communicate with her son no matter where he would be, several family members purchased laptops. I decided to purchase from Eforcity 4 notebook cooling pads to give to these family members as Christmas presents, this was over a year ago.

I am on a fixed income so I comparison shopped on-line and found Eforcity's price to be the best. I placed my order on Nov 3, 2007. Eforcity sent me a thank you for your order e-mail on Nov 4 and on Nov 6 sent me another e-mal with the UPS tracking number.

On Nov 18 I received a "We are unable to complete delivery" postcard from the UPS. They never made an attempt to deliver my package, eventhough my address was correct on the postcard, which was the same address as the order,( I've been at this address over 10 years). I spoke with UPS on Nov 19 and they had already returned the merchandise.

On Nov 30th, 2007 I received an e-mail from Eforcity's return department stating that they had " received your bounced back package from the postal service" and wanted to verify my address. I responded to their e-mailed that same day and never heard from them again.

I made several attempts to contact Eforcity at the return department e-mail address, their service e-mail address and even sent a letter to their PO Box address and nothing.

I realize that the UPS was the first to drop the ball by never delivering my package and returning it to Eforcity but Eforcity never reshipped the merchandise nor did they credit my account. Someone received this package but it was not me. It's so frustrating not to be able to speak to someone to resolve this matter.

It's a d**n shame that companies like Eforcity can continue to do business with impunity, they don't ripoff big corporations, they ripoff the little people.
