EFS Judgment Recovery Division HELP consumer fraud ripoff false promises waste of time false promises TAMPA Florida
SCAM IS THE NICEST WORDS; ITS NOT WHAT THEY DID, ITS WHAT THEY DIDN'T DO.
About a year ago my wife was awarded a settelment in small claims court. The business in question still never made good on the claim. Some how the court records are open to Scam artists who mail you a very official looking letter and promise to collect your settelment for the small fee $20.
The next thing you hear is we are still trying to complete the collection. The next thing is we have not been succesfull by normal means to provide the service as promised however for an additional fee we will try again. Round and round we go. I called and the number was changed.
It is not the small amount of money that realy bothers me it is the deception and the fact that the courts assist this process by giving out the information which allows these scams to exist.
Of course no one is really to blame-- Like POGO said "We have met the enemy and they is us"

Judgment Recovery Rip-off

It is always sad when we read that someone has has not been honest in collection of debt.
Our agency collects in DE PA, we never charge a dime until we collect. That means if we do tracking, mailings, phone time etc. our clients do not owe anything until they have their money.
Never use an agency that charges you up front for their work. Our success rate is about 65% of all cases we take on; that means 35% of our clients if we charged up front would be out money and that just is not fair.
Better choices are out there, good luck!

I am sorry to hear about that. That makes me outraged, as a Judgment Recovery Business owner, this makes the whole industry look bad. There are a few bad apples in the industry but please do not give up hope. Alot of the companies out there are legit, and do not charge a up-front fee. Many just ask for 50% of the judgment(the industry standard).
I am sorry for your loss,
