Complaint Review: Egumball

Egumball contacted me with promises of putting me on the front page of Google. They put me on Google maps and they are forcing me to misrepresent my business. I canceled my account on the 29^th day of my contract.

I think they are in breach of contract.

I would like you to take note of the fine print at the bottom of there the contract. It says,

I (“Client”) hereby award eGumBall, Inc. (“Publisher”) the “Right To Agency” to promote the above name advertising and keyword(s).Performance Guarantee: If publisher does not activate service within the first thirty (30) days of this agreement, client may opt out of this agreement without penalty and receive a 100% refund

Dennis Summers asked for 10 key words. I gave him 7 key words witch were.

Day care, Child care, State licensed care, DHS care. Private pay care, before school care, after school.  They promoted two, before school care, after school.

The other 8 key words they made up and put on my web page or day care center (on there twice), Child Care Agency, Learning Center, Day Care Agency, Child Care Center (on there twice) and Nanny Services (on there twice), I am an in home daycare. I do not offer any of these services. This is a big misrepresentation of my business.

I asked them to take the key words off my web page that misrepresent my business and they refuse to correct it. They said they could not take off any of the key words because they have to stay with Google compliant regard less if I have those services or not.

 I contacted Google and Google said they were not affiliated with egumball.

So even though service was activated. It is wrong. So wrong that it is a big misrepresentation of my business.

They are in breach of contract.

I signed the contract with egumball on May 20^th, I faxed my cancelation in on July 19^th and called them right after I faxed it to tell them I was canceling my account.

Please take note: on the contract it states; set up fee $139.00, Monthly Installment $139.00.

They billed me $287.00 on May 20^th, $139.00 on July 19^th and $139.00 on July 20^th   

They billed me two extra payments when they found out I canceled my account with them. It just can’t be legal for a company to force you to misrepresent your company.

DO NOT CALL!!! Get everything in writing!!! They will lie about what they said. Email them only!!! 

I agree THE WORST EXPERINCE OF MY LIFE!!!! I asked for a refund 30 days into and was unable to get one. I paid $1200.00 for absulutly nothing. They say they could not get a hold of us but our email works just fine. They could of asked the questions via email due to our busy gaveyard lifestyle. I guess that never crossed thier minds. If you are going to do business with them get everything in writing via email DO NOT TALK TO THEM ON THE PHONE. In WRITING ONLY!!! Be very careful what you say to them they will twist,  minipluate and even lie!! Be very careful when dealing with this company. I recommend only corrasponding through email. They are very good at minipluating the sistuation. BEWARE!!! They will bully and threaten you. In thier eyes they are perfect. Hundreds of poeple have taken the time to write reviews and say the same thing ,but we are all wrong. They will respond to every last one saying how perfect they are and everyone else is wrong. It's getting a little suspicious don't ya yhink??? So I'm sure they will respond some crazy thing about this review. Rik did quote "It's his Law" I truley belive he actually belives that. I can only hope one day someone has the time, money and power to finally crush Rik's scam and dishonest laws. I highly recommend you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will bully you to take down every review and even call it RICO!! I see you are from SLC. If you would like to file a law suit I would be willing to go in on it with you. Please contact eGumball to discuss your account and to justify our services.  If at the end of a "productive" conversation we cannot find any support to our billing.. we will issue a refund.
