Warning to those using Eharmony services. I can only speak from my point of view as an older female about the matches that were made.
If you are over the age of 40 and female you will not be able to match to anyone your age or slightly younger. That option was not included when I participated 2 years ago. I was consistently matched to men 10 years+ and some 15+ with no opportunity to match with someone in my own age bracket.

I am a 48 year-old woman registered with Eharmony and I will have to disagree with this person's charges that a 40+ woman usually gets matches at least 10 years her senior. The system set me up with a default age range of 44 to 58 years for matches. A fair number of my matches have been fairly close to my age, exactly my age, or slightly younger. In fact, I am now in communication with a 49 year-old man.
Recently, this company has modified its age range determination by allowing the user to set his/her own parameters for an acceptable age range as long as their own age is included in the range.
