I joined in Sept for 3 months. I went on one date with a match. Some of the matches were ok, some were bad. However, they kept sending emails. Fine, I deleted them. Two days ago, I rejoined for 3 months, why, I dont know. I found their phone number on their website and gave them a call. I spoke to Michelle, she said I should extend the area to 60 miles. Please, that would include the tri state area, I dont think so. I told her since I just joined, I want to cancel and get a refund. She said she'd extend my membership by a month for free. I said no thanks. She said, well, we DONT GIVE REFUNDS. I told her I just rejoined 2 days ago, TOO BAD was the reply. Then, she wouldnt even give me the free month. All she could do was turn off the auto renew--big deal.
When you go on their website for help, it tells you to email them for a refund. What a joke, they dont give refunds. I emailed them and told them so too, and I want the free month. However, now that I see all the other unhappy people out there, I think Im going to contact them again and let them know that I am insisting on a refund. If not, I will contact the Better Business Bureau.
