I have been an off and on member of Eharmony for years. They have, with no exception praticed this unethical behavior. I might get a match once a month in some cases, at other times I may get three or four, but never more than that. All of this for their very expensive prices to subscribe. But that's not the worst problem. Because I am not getting matches very often, I get off of the site.

Then guess what happens? I suddenly get matches all the time to the extent that I never have before when I was an active member. The reason is obvious - so I will renew just to be able to see what I might be missing. I call this a scam. Some of my friends have noticed the same thing. When I confronted Eharmony all they could say was "we continue to give you matches, after you unsubscribe" (I asked to talk to a supervisor and gave my phone number and she never returned my call - great customer service, or so they say.)

They make a lot more money by practicing this scam, because you end up becoming hooked by curiousty and join again. I would hate to think how many hundreds of dollars I have spent because of this unethical behavior.
