We received phone quotes from Online moving $600 or 200cubic feet following the list of furniture that had to be moved from Port Washington, NY to Hartford, CT. On August 15th, with one and a half hour late, arrives EILID moving. Kenny the man in charge says they will fill the truck the best way they can so iff it is less than 200 cubic feet we will pay less if not we would have to pay the difference.

As they load the items we added a few extra pieces such as rolled rugs, 3 small boxes with CD's, 3 kit,s from Ikea that we would assemble later-on, and a few more articles. When the job was finished, Kenny presented us with a bill of $1500.The few pieces we added represented for Kenny $900 or 300cubic feet or one and a half time the binding estimate. FRAUD, FRAUD.

We were appauled and pressured because we had to be at destination at a specific time . We had the freight elevator reserved until 4PM. We had no choice and paid by Visa credit card. In Hartford only the driver and a new guy showed up to unload.
It is impossible to get a last name when you call Eilid Moving. Amy who answers the phone is an arrogant and uncooperative person.

At this point I have introduced a complaint to Visa for the difference between the binding estimate and the final bill.I would like to hear from you with suggestions on how to handle this issue.
