EIN Processing SCAM, Claim to be IRS Service, No service provided. springboro, Ohio
I tried to apply for my tax id for a couple weeks through IRS on line tool. I was redirected www.irs-ein-online.com when trying to use the IRS online application. This is a scam. They charge you $150 and claim to provide an EIN number in moments. They do not and did not send me anything but proceeded to charge me the $150 and later would not refund my account. You can call IRS directly to get an EIN number in minutes and FOR FREE! When I told the IRS what happened as I received my EIN number in a matter of 5 minues, they assured me this company could not try and call for a number at this point. I filed an incident report and now trying to get my bank to dispute the charge.
