Ekostyle - Al - Ebay Member Ellakor - Christina ripoff Refusal to refund money demolished goods crappy customer service refusal to communicate New York New York
On Oct 23rd 2006, I purchased a bed from Ekostyle on ebay. Only the slats for the bed were mailed. When I called and asked where the remainder of the bed was, I was given many different stories including a story of how I never paid. I finally got them to agree that I paid and the other half of the bed was sent. However, when the bed arrived, it was severely damaged. Al, the owner, agreed to have them shipped back. They received the bed on December 27th and promised to refund our money. When my husband and I called to see where our refund was, they are refusing to refund our money on the basis that we have no invoice. Ekostyle never sent out an invoice to us but we forwarded them all the email transactions as well as the transaction information from Paypal. When we call to see the status of our claim, we are constantly hung up on and no one will answer our questions. I am planning on taking out a police report on January 5th, 2007. I also reported them to the BBB.
