Complaint Review: El Cid Electonics

Having searched the Internet for best prices on the Canon Eos 1D Mark 111 digital camera, I could not believe my luck when El Cid Electronics offered it at approximately half the usual price!

I set about ordering ,but ,could not pay by credit card (only western union or money gram accepted), even though credit card & pay pal symbols are displayed on the site! I did not proceed with the order, but ,Immediately emailed El Cid Electronics.

They informed me that they could not accept credit card payment for the first order, only western union or moneygram, but that subsequent orders could be paid by credit card!

I sent a further email to find out why credit card could not be accepted as it's one of the safest forms of payment, but ,I have not had a reply!

I really do believe that this is not a genuine company, so buyers , please beware!
