Complaint Review: El Dorado Sales

I was surprised to notice an item on my credit card bill (EL DORADO SALES 602-212-9607 AZ 9.98 US DOLLAR) and even more surprised to discover from this website that many more people in Europe and America had had the same experience.

Upon contacting El Dorado via their help address (support@easynews.com) I discovered that my credit card details had been used illegally via an Amsterdam IP address to purchase time/product from El Dorado (aka easynews.com?).

I was pleased that El Dorado quickly refunded the money, but unconvinvced as to their motives. After all, if this was the fraudulent activities of a third party, why should El Dorado fork out the money for it (especially since my bank would have cancelled the charge anyway)?

Seems to me easynews + el dorado could do more to explain how it is that some Amsterdam IP address gets to steal my credit card number and use it to their advantage.
