Elaine Hesse Steel And Lifeway College made my life a misery at St. Hilda's Aucland New Zealand
I concur with the complaint by Doug Sheppard re: Elaine. I know nothing of the school, Pathway College.
Because I came from a poor family, my life at that snob patch Anglican School was hard enough without being badly taught by Elaine when she was just a teacher and then to be victimised when she became principal. Elaine was so incompetent that she had to have her husband come in to teach the origins of the First World War. I understand he did this annually from the onset of Elaine's career at St. H's. I understand from girls a few years older that history used to be taught by a Diana Strang who did a great job. The story has it that Elaine set Diana up for a fall by spreading rumours about her.
As principal, she favoured the girls who came either from rich farming families or from the professions. I was part of a group that was caught out in some silly prank. The girls like myself were suspended, but the daughters of Elaine's rich friends got off scott free. But one girl from a rich family, Margo, was victimised when Elaine took it upon herself to prevent her from getting an AFS position.
When that article came out in TRUTH, the photocopiers went like mad, and we laughed our arses off. CAUGHT OUT, Goodie Two-Shoes, Elaine, public sinner.

How could any school employ an unthical woman like Elaine?
