eLance, Inc. elance.com U.S. Workers held to more strict policy standards than Foreign Workers mountain view, California
eLance allows a business out of Pakistan to continue on eLance which
demanded us to pay via wire, to a personal account, though took us down
without warning concerning communication regarding offering our clients
options concerning payment, and we're a U.S. company.
The information regarding the Pakistan firm was communicated in detail
to a high level manager, who indicated it was against policy, yet
clearly nothing was ever done. The business was not affected, no new
profile, and no, they are not in the process of being taken down but
allowed to complete projects which an eLance Support Rep indicated was
"likely" the case.
eLance holds U.S. businesses unfairly to a different set of rules/policy
compliance than Foreign organizations which is simply un-American &
wrong.
Their actions support the current negative U.S. fiscal issues, and
continued financial rape of the U.S. workforce as the financial playing
field between the U.S., and any competing firm outside the US are
obviously in drastic contrast. In essence, they step on the U.S. Worker
twice.
I'm all for playing a competitive game, as long the umpire doesn't have 2
Sets of Rules which clearly eLance execution indicates they operate
with.
Congratulations eLance!
You cost 4 U.S. Workers their Jobs & Supported the downturn in America.
Nice Job!
