Where should I start?!

1. Ordered a 2018 Shelby F-150 on January 20, after a recommendation from Tuscany (which ended up being a mistake). I contacted Elder Ford to talk about a trade plus cash payment for the difference. Easy, right? Well, a lady named Britany got a hold of me and we worked out the details. Because I had bad experience already with another dealership of thay group, I wanted to make sure that we sign the agreement right away and I will pay the outstanding balance before I even see the truck. I understand it had to get ordered, but I also wanted to make sure the deal is the deal and doesn’t change from one day to another - as it usually is. Britany did not send me the docs, but I received a credit card authorization form to pay $1,000 immediately, which I did.

2. After payment was received we talked about details. So now remember, this dealership represents Shelby!! Britany send me a sheet and photos of a Baja, even though I specifically mentioned the 2018 F150 Supersnake with 2018 Facelift! She ignored the facts and send me another wrong photo and sheet. I had to come up with a drawing to clarify what I was talking about. I believe that dealership didn’t even know what a Shelby is. After this situation was solved, I was under the impression that everything is ordered and ready to go. - wrong!

3. Months later I kept calling her and Tuscany and always received the same speech. “We’re still waiting, and Shelby has issues with their Superchargers, etc.” At some point you get really annoyed and pissed off - understandably. I thought this might be a simple transaction. - Again, wrong!

4. At some point, I believe 3 Months later, I got a hold of Britany on her cell and she said, that she no longer works for Elder ford and I have to call someone else. Well, that’s interesting, because on Friday everything seemed fine and on Monday she is fired?! Okay, that’s not how I run my business, but I guess that’s a different speech.

5. I called Elder Ford again and now Maurizio is in charge. I spoke to him and all I got was “we’re waiting and I can’t give you an update”. I called him a week later again, and still the same. Then again, and again, and again... at this point you just loose absolute interest and are so annoyed that you really start hating yourself to have chosen them of any other dealership... jeeez.

6. Now about 4 months after the initial contact, Maurizio emailed and said “great news”, we got “options, and I got a new, and used one”! I asked a used one? How can that be if they just got certified the day before. So I called him up to ask him about the milage and he said closer to 5,000. What?! How can you drive 5,000 miles within one day, when Tuscany just released the trucks the day before?!! So I told him to send me pictures to verify color, etc, before I waste my time to drive up there.

And now, the cherry on the cake: He presents two 2017 “model faced” Baja truck, that were so far from what I originally ordered, that its not even funny anymore!! Again, I send him photos of the 2018 Shelby F-150 Supersnake with the 2018 up-to-date face and look, to proof my point, that this vehicle is even existing!! ...and again, another excuse and now it takes another couple of weeks wait and no answer game!! I’m really sick of it at this point. This dealership is a joke!! Don’t even waste your time when looking for a “high performance vehicle”.
