Myself & my girlfriend were staying at the Rivera Hotel walking past a pretty girl dressed like a bunny. She motioned us to come in and spin a wheel to win $1,000,000. or 2 new corvettes. We went in and didn't win but were given a consolation prize and on the way out was stopped and led to a counter where she was promised another free stay at the Rivera for only taking time to watch a 3 houri timeshare. But she had to give a $174. deposit to hold it and it would be returned after watching the presentation. it was only good for one year.

We came back to take advantqge of the 3-day/4-night offer and were taken the 2nd day to the Grandview Timeshare pesentation by bus. We sat througn the first hour which was well represented and none pressured while having a sandwich and a drink. Afterwards we were escorted into a large room where we were separated by a salesman to a private table. There the conmen started on us with all the reasons why we should own a timeshare. I'm 77 & my girlfriend is 88 with really bad credit. We listened and kept saying no but the relentless salesman wouldn't take no. He finally took our driver's licenses to see if we qualified for loan. We kept tellilng him no so he brought over the closing conman who was the head sales manager. He was friendly and persuasive and we told him no also. Then came the con and persuasive lies to secure a sales.

He asked if we could have it for free would we buy. I told him nothing is for free and didn't believe him. He then said for the $1500 down-payment he would give us 2 round-trip tickets of anywhere in the US including a week stay at a hotel for 2015 & 2016 which would cover the $1500. That seemed reasonable. But then he said he would pay the montlhly payments for 10 years by renting out the timeshare.H e was the sales manager so he seemed believable. He would do it by adding extra days to the timeshare every other year. All we had to do was sign for the timeshare and not tell the the Verification officer until afterwards where he was waiting.

We signed up for the timeshare beliving him and and all we got was a free buffet. There was a 5-day cancellation period that we were not informed about until it was too late. The planed tickeets never showed up & the salesmand never contacted us as to how he was going to make the payments. Somehow even with bad credit the sale went through with their private financing. I immediaely within 7 days tried to cancel & it took over a month to get a final cancellation. So far we haven't received the $174. promised back or the 1st payment of the contract.

Be aware of the deceptiive lies that these con-salesmen will promise you to get you to sign up. We were there for 7 hours
