On June 28, 2010, I purchased a refurbished Club Car golf cart from this company that promised to go 'fast' and paid over $5,000. David Paige, the sales guy who met me at their shop in Costa Mesa promised brand new batteries, tires, fast motor(the works) all with 30 day warranty. Not knowing much about the dynamics of these carts nor their reputation, I agreed to pay the high price thinking that I would be buying a 'like new' golf cart in a old Club Car body. Well the cart was delivered 5 days later as promised. The first time I took it out to my golf course, the cart had a catastrophic brake failure(zero brake pressure) which could have caused a fatal accident. It turns out that they did not place the pins correctly. Then about 3 weeks later on July 28th, the cart mysteriously died on me. When the cart was sent back to the sellers' garage, I first had to argue that while I paid for the vehicle on June 28th, I did not take delivery until July 3rd which meant that the cart should be under the 30 day warranty. They reluctantly agreed but when I called back a few days later to check on it's progress, they claimed that my cart's motor was damaged by an 'outside agent' and would not be covered by the warranty. The only 'outside agent' that I can think of would be my right foot pressing the accelerator to keep the cart moving as it was meant to be! I even offered to pay $300 transportation cost to have the cart sent back to my house which is about 40 miles from their shop but they have not once called me to settle this matter. It seems to me that they should change their name to 'Electric Thief Warehouse'. I am kicking myself for not reading the Rip-off Report before I bought my golf cart. Considering all the previous complaints against them, these guys really should be investigated and shut down for good. Any ideas on what I should do?
