ELECTROLUX consumer fraud ripoff Augusta Georgia
My refrigerator is not working since 08/22/2002 and on 5 years warranty.Two times service man from Electrolux didn't show up 08/31 and 09/05... 09/16/2002 Electrolux change condenser fan motor cost $70.30 and $98.22 but nothing change,I spoke with supervisor mr.Amandola at (732)590-8216.
He told me: service man assumed at 08/24/2002 about condenser fan motor broken ,old motor have no problems(checked by Improved Refrigeration (718) 934-2800 cost $31.38 )Refrigerator is not working.09/23/02 Bear Appliance Repair(718)809-6962 found "restriction on line unrepairable unit" cost $65.00.09/24/02 call to Electrolux (706) 860-4110 ext#8 spoke with a manager his name is Peter.Hi told me ;you can buy a new refrigerator(20%off) no money back for service and lost
food and don't offer replace unit by warranty.Customer service
is very bad ,all time differnt people and nobody call me back.i was on telephone long time without answer and lost money and time.
This is ripoff .

Frigidaire brand is the "cheapest"or lowest quality brand of all appliances on the market.
Companies that manufacture higher quality and usually more expensive products take into account that some may be defective or not last as long as intended.The few extra dollars are needed by these manufacturers to be able to provide service.
Next time call FACTORY AUTHORIZED servicers or purchase your appliances from your neighborhood "servicing dealer". Generally if you purchase from these people they deal w/ both ends of the appliance industry SALES and SERVICE.It would make a difference in how you recieve service and they would care if you had a functional refrigerator.
