Worst Company Ever!!

This company completely wasted my time and slowed my businesss sales.   I was told I was approved as a merchant to open an account then told by the rep to purchase a merchant machine, which I did.  I waited a 2 weeks for the paperwork/set up to be done on Electronic Merchant Systems end.  After calling the sales rep several times she finally returned my call to tell me that I needed to call customer service and that she couldnt help me.    When I called customer service I was told that they would call me back.  I didnt get a call back from customer service for 3 days.  When I called again a man rudely told me that I had been denied to open an account.  I was shocked with this news.  When I asked the man why, he told me because I told the rep that Id talked to previously  to call me back within the next 10 minute and that my sense of  urgency raise a red flag.  I didnt recall if I had requested a 10 minute call back or not, but, I may have after patiently waiting for them to give me the final approval to make credit card sales.  The last man I talked to on the phone was rude when he told me I was denied and didnt give me a chance to further question Electronic Merchant Systems decision to deny me.

A few days later I received a letter in the mail stating that I had been approved, urging  me to start processing credit cards immediately.  Between the time that I was supposedly denied and when the letter came I spoke to another credit card merchant company whom pointed out all the hidden fees that Electronic Merchant Systems was charging me.  This procrastination, poor customer service and misleading information harmed my new business.   I was left waiting as I thought I had been approved by Electronic Merchant Services.  Meanwhile, I was unable to process credit cards.  Its time consuming and stressful starting a new business and Electronic Merchant System made it even worse.
Electronic Merchant Systems (a company that I dont trust) now has all my personal information.  I feel violated.

EMS is the most unethical, unprofessional, disorganized company I have worked for. I resigned after a short time with them to work for a real company. You are so much better off going with another company. The person who showed you the hidden fees is correct. EMS will charge you thousands on leasing equipment you can buy online for hundreds!!!

You are lucky you didn't sign with them!!!!!
