This company is the worst that i have ever dealt in my over 25 years in business. The sales reps lie about fees that are added after you sign up for the service. They want even tell you who your sales rep is or try to say that the reps are independent contractors and that they arent responsible for what the reps told you or sold you. I have a signed letter from the sales rep that says if i am not happy with the srevices that  eps will take and buy my contract out from merchant services and that they will give it to someone else that wants to use it. Even written on an eps letter head , signed and dated, and they say they will not honor it because it was made by one of the reps who is not an employee , but rather an independant contractor that technicoly doesnt work for the company directly. Annual fees that are never told to you when you sign up. Fees from merchant services for processing credit cards which I was told that there wouldnt be a fee if i didnt process credit cards and that the credit card machine was only used so checkes could be processed. These scumbags are liars, thieves , and the most fraudulent company i have ever dealt with. I have contacted these people over 20 times to no avail and finally just had to get my bank to put stop payments on all the fees being taken out. You actually deal with merchant services who just says you signed a contract on the equipment and that there is nothing they can do and that you have to contact eps about the problem. In the mean time, merchant services wrecks your credit and continues to call and harrass you about payment. Stay away from them read the bbb report on them. Over 250 complaints in Colorado alone on. Which still cant figure how a company has over 250 complaints and they still have an A rating What a joke.

EPS resolving complaint

Hello,
We are very sorry for the confusion and difficulty you seem to be experiencing. I would very much like to take care of your situation however I cannot find which account this is as you did not include any information like your company name.

EPS is dedicated to taking care of its merchants and continue to have an A rating with the BBB because we do everything possible to take care of complaints. Although we do our best to resolve  issues as they arise, companies are still faced with reports when a customer does not get their way.  This does not mean we don't do everything possible to resolve the issue, we do, however sometimes it is still never good, enough even when we are in the right. The vast majority of complaints are from not understanding the terms and conditions of the contract, which are clearly laid out and very easy to understand.  EPS in many instances does still go above and beyond cancelling contracts and issuing refunds when we shouldn't, depending on the circumstances. However simply yelling loudly is not a plausible reason (please do not think I'm referring to your specific situation as we do not have complete facts yet, I am simply trying to offer an explanation of why there seem to be so many complaints in general).

Your complaint states that an independent agent (not the EPS company) made outrageous and deceitful promises. EPS did not intentionally lie, mislead, or make any fraudulent claims to gain your business. The only way we have as a company to ensure merchants are given full disclosure of fees, terms and conditions is through the contract which the merchant reads and agrees to per their signature.  We have never condoned such misleading or deceitful sales practices and although you apparently did move forward with the contract we would like to rectify this unfortunate situation. Please accept our sincere apology and email sales@eps-na.com with your name, company, and contact information so that we can resolve your issue.
Regards,
EPS Corporate
