Complaint Review: Elegant Window Fashions

Anthony Esplin of Elegant Window Fashions in Cedar City, UT collected payment for blinds that he said would be installed in a timely manner -- within several weeks. We ordered the blinds on 5/19/09 and today (8/7/09) still have nothing. He claimed that his product was superior to Home Depot and that the price was better. Anthony Esplin represents himself as the company's owner, but it appears that his brother Dave Esplin, in fact, owns the company.

Much as with a previous report (#466223), we have been strung along with promises of delivery and refunds of our money that never come through. Unlike #466223, we have not gotten a refund and, as time drags on, I fear we will never see one. I have also spoken several times with Dave Esplin who claims he will look into my problem along with agreement that things need to be made right -- nothing there either. They are unable or unwilling to step up and make things right, even when it's embarrassingly clear that they have made a mess of the transaction.

In my humble opinion, run to the nearest Hxxx Dxxxx(((REDACTED))) or other reputable business. This has been one of the worst consumer experiences I have ever gone through. Esplin and Elegant had came recommended by a friend who had a positive experience. I, unfortunately, cannot make such a recommendation.
