I purchased a headboard online from elegantfurnituredirect.com on 8/11/08 and my shipment came within a week. Given the fact I had such a great initial experience with them I made a larger purchase on 08/28/08 for more bedroom furniture - two beds, 1 nightstand and dresser.

My shipment for the additional furniture came around September 18th at which time I received everything except the dresser. Instead of a dresser I received a mirror that goes with the dresser that I did not order. I called the company right away and spoke with Jennifer. She said there was a mix up and they were sending the dresser from a different warehouse and I should receive it by the latest September 29th...the estimated ship date was 9/26.

Immediately after our conversation Jennifer forwarded me an email correspondence from her and a rep at Hillsdale Furniture the manufacture for the dresser. It asked what happened to the dresser and the rep at Hillsdale said it was a mistake on their part and would ship out on 9/26.

After waiting until 9/29 and still no dresser I tried to contact the company at the phone number listed on the website. The recording on the number said they were experiencing a high volume of calls and to leave a message. I tried to leave a message, but it appeared I kept getting routed back into the same message I had heard before about the call volume. I kept trying the number back without luck.

I tried the next day and next. I finally tried emailing the company at several different emails listed on the website without any response. I waited a week and kept trying to call.

My last attempt to contact the company was at the end of October by phone and email before I left the country. I got back from vacation on 11/21 and went to their website to look up the number again to try to reach them and now the website has been taken down. I looked at my old packing slip from the products I did receive and it said ship for onecallstores.com. I tried looking up this web address and it also does not exist at this time. Doing a web search on onecallstores.com has also shown additional complaints about partial orders being received. Additional phone numbers that had been listed for them (888) 538-9498 and 347 587-2200. All numbers are now disconnected.

I did a search for the company and found other people have experienced the same thing and filed complaints. I am filing this as an additional complaint because this company has apparently gone out of business and failed to deliver products as purchased by customers on their web site. I paid appx $500 for a dresser for my kids room and have nothing to show for it....sad.
