element5info.com Digital River Charging for what was supposed to be a free trial of protection of Computer Germany
I was supposed to get a free trial on Computer protection for 30 days. I did not give this company a Credit Card number.My credit card that I use very little. I was told that my card had been compromised .
When I got my bill there were 6 charges on there from Element5 that amounts to close to 200.00, 3 charges of 28.03 on 2/3/2009 I removed the software within 2 weeks of recieving it.
They used my Credit Card without me even giving the name of the Credit Card or number, without my consent. We only have Social Security for income and just how do they expect me to pay this credit card..

How can anyone even think of using a credit card without permission of the owner of said card.
This free trial has turned into a nightmare. I removed the software immediately as soon as I realized it was not what I wanted.
This period was supposed to be a free trial. I didn't even use it over 2 weeks, possibly 3. It is credit card theft in my mind. I have no idea where they got that card number.
We are on Social Security and that is our only means of living. The credit card is supposed to be investigating this company. We expect these charges to be droopped. If not I am 79 yrs of age and sound of mind but I will die before I pay it.
