Elephant Admiral insurance Got me Fined 200 because of thier incompitance Internet

I'm am writing this after being pulled over and fined 200 for not having any insurance on my, this is despite the fact that i have payed my insurance in full to elephant insurance.
 
The reason for this is that in december of last year i changed my car, the FIRST thing I did before picking it up was to ring Elephant and ask for a quote to change cars on the policy, and when they gave me a good price, according to the complaints person who supposedly listened to the call I said, 'OK i'll buy that then' this would state to anyone who speaks English that i was intending to swich to the new polocy. 

Thier member of staff then to me said 'I'm saving that to the system,' wich to me and anyone speaking English meant it had been changed i was then sent an email from them regarding changes to the policy although it would not open, but i had no problem with it because i had already gone through the policy with thier staff.

So today when i was fined for having no insurance, i was just a little bit angry. They said that i had never agreed change the policy and that it was only a quote that and it had not been put on the system. On top of that even if it was an honest mistake THEY WERE UNWILLING TO TALK TO THE POLICE TO SAY THERE HAD BEEN A MISS UNDERSTANDING, Elephent are continuing to say this is all my fault despite me having a whitness who there when i made the calll who also understood that the policy had been changed. 

The bottm line hear is avoid elephant full stop.
