Ordered steel building from Zach Williams on 8/13/12.  Elephant subbed building and 'free' installation to Dreams Carports & Buildings of Orem Ut.

Dreams crew came to site on 10/3/12.  City caught crew installing wrong anchors and would not accept.  Dreams completed building the next day, anyway, and left leaving an invoice some $1922.8 higher than the Elephant pricing.  Called Zach who refered me to Darrell.  Darrell said he would get an itemized invoice from Dreams and get back to me.  I called again several days later and he said he was working on it and would get back.  I called back again, Darrell not available and I spoke to sales manager, Tim Thompson.  He said he would find out what Darrell had learned.  No call back.  I called again and Mr Thompson said he was on my side and would speak with Darrell.  No Call back from Elephant so I called again and was told Mr Thompson playing golf and Darrell not available.

Dreams crew came back 3-4 times to install different anchors and enginners determined they were not following proper engineering procedures. In addition, when trying to install new anchors un-needed holes were drilled into loser panels of siding and additional damages done.  Proper procedures were never followed and city has not been provided torque readings for the anchors,

At his point, 2/8/13, lower panels have not been replace as Dreams once said they would do, I have gotten no help from Tim Thompson or any Elehant employees and Dreams has hired a lawyer to put a lien on my property for an amount beyond that quoted by Elephant.

Facts are Elephant folks did not call back, additional costs were not provided in advance, engineering was discussed with Zac before order placed and he said Elephant would take care of problems, customer was not told Elephant would sub out and lose control of project, engineering plans do not come close to a $2,000 difference,  building was put up not in accordance with engineering specs and then customer presented a new invoice with several errors including taxes charged. It was some one at Elephant that that gave the excuse Mr Thompson was playing golf, not customer.  Re-emphasizing, no one at Elephant would call back to go over new invoice, admit that they farmed out job to some one that Elephant could not control and that customer was on his own.

Mr. Ronald McBride. filed this report against Elephant Structures about being ignored and not called back by myself about his situation. I contacted the owner of Dreams Carports, Marco and he went over the invoice in question with me. Mr. McBride failed to state that he was given certified stamped plans that cost Marco at Dreams around $600-$700 out of his pocket and installed more high wind anchors then what was required also at Dreams Carports cost. Once the order is sent to the installer/ scheduling team in the area we at Elephant have no control over that job. We are a dealer for the area  in question. The difference between the invoices from Elephant Structures and Dreams Carports is additional products that Mr. McBride ordered through Dreams Carports. Mr. Thompson was not playing golf he has not played golf in over two years.  I apologize for the inconveniences that Mr. McBride went through but we are can not control the actions of companies that we out source to.
