First, the company told me I was going to be paid $20/hr. On the 20th of every month. The 20th just came around and no direct deposit from them. I emailed them and they shot an email and put some other undisclosed recipients attached to it stating that the deposit date wasn't until the 25th? So the 25th came and still no paycheck. I raised a fuss, they claimed that it was always the 25th for tutors. Not only that, but they told me that my check was to be $473.00 for the month in which it should be $620.00 for the month with bonuses. This was due to the end of school year rush for San Juan Capistrano. While completing my hours for them I had clients tell me that they have done over the 10 hours of tutoring and they hadn't received their promised tablet (one of the companies incentives to create revenue). My rent is due and the program is claiming that they are going to send it FedEx. No-one answers my calls and I have left dozens of voicemails. I am in receipt of many correspondences in the form of emails back and forth showing all of the details of what's been promised. Even an email stating what I should have been making. I have an email stating that they're trying to dock me an hour for "going over the 10 hours", in which I did no such thing at all. I'm really thinking about either taking them to court or whistleblowing, but I don't know even where to start. Please do your homework before taking a job with them.
