Recieved a letter with a check for 4,700. Letter stated deposit check, tell no one of the letter or prize being claimed (50,000), then contact the agent. Mrs. Janette Williams, agent, will then give further instructions on how to claim my winnings. Five people were randomly choicen by computer ballot and split the prize amount of 50,000 US DOLLARS. The check sent is intended to expedite the processing and the amount is deducted from my winnings. Some money from the check will pay for the applicable taxes on the winnings. We have been scammed before so we know first hand when we have recieved a fraudulate letter. I never called the number and do not intend to...I will send it to everyone I know and try to stop these abusive theives. In the mean time please make yourself and others aware, if a letter is recieved and says "US DOLLARS" any in it...IT"S A CANDIAN SCAM!!!!
