Complaint Review: Elite Beauty Basics

I saw an ad on TV about some mineral makeup.  I wanted to try it
out so I ordered my "FREE INTRODUCTORY OFFER" for a little
over $8.00 for shipping and handling.  I should have remembered
what my parents told me....."Nothing is Free".

When I received my package, I was not disappointed as this was a free
offer and I knew just "samples" would be sent. Even though
the handles fell off of the brushes as soon as I touched them, I was
ok with that because, after all, those itty bitty jars were so darn
cute and they were all free.

However, when I checked my e-mail, I had received some mail from "EBB"
and it was letting me know that I had been deemed a "member of
their club".  I immediately went to the site that would
allow me to cancel this unwanted and unrequested membership.  I
received a confirmation stating that my account had been cancelled
and I would not receive any further products or charges.

Whew!  I felt a lot better.......until I realized that not only did I
pay a little over $8.00 for shipping and handling for my "FREE"
product, but this company hit my account for an amazing
.......drumroll please.......$130.41 AND THEN had the cojones to tell me
that I was charged that because I didn't send MY FREE PRODUCT back
to them!!!!...

WHAT IN THE HECK WAS I SUPPOSED TO GET FOR FREE???????? 

BUYER BEWARE the evil in the fine print.  God knows who  these
people are and I can assure you, they are already damned. I have
deemed them members of the club " Scummy Scammers"!!!
