They have never called me back or replied top my emails.  It appears they are not going to honor their Buy Back program and I am now out $300.  It has been two weeks since they got my return package and I have heard nothing!

 

They do not take phone calls.  They have what appears to be a bogus message when you call them that initially says to hold for a representative, but it ALWAYS go to voice mail.

 

I ordered three language sets on 1/16/14.  

They sent me a FEDEX tracking number on 1/17/14.  

On 1/24/14 I emailed them to say to cancel my order as it appeared the carrier (Fedex) was never given a package.  I also informed them thay if it was a honoest error, please refund me as I was raising a dispute with my credit card company.

On 1/28/14 I raised a dispute with my credit card company as they never replied to me.  (My dispute was that I had not received the goods, thus I no longer have that dispute.)

On 1/30/14 they shipped the language courses anyway, despite my request to cancel.

On 2/5/14 I received the language courses.

On 2/6/14 i returned the courses via USPS with tracking.

On 2/6/14 I call my credit card company to inform them I returned the language course.

On 2/14/14 USPS reports they have delivered the package back to them.

 

At best, they have horrible customer service and at worst, they are a scam, rip-off.  

Right now, I don't have my $300.  I don't have any communications from them since 1/16/14.  I am thinking the worse.  I do not recommend taking your chances.

With the proscpect of losing $300, I tried calling again...and got through to Doug.

He apologized for the lack of communication, explaining between the weather and being very busy, he was behind.

He refunded me the $300 while we were on the phone!  

Wish I did not file this report now.

 

NOTE: I was concerned about losing my money because my credit card company informed me that because I did not return the goods with a signature for proof of delivery, I would be out all of my money and the goods; and I would not be able to raise another dispute.  

MORAL TO THE STORY: (1) Be patient; (2) Always return (expensive goods) with proof of delivery with a signature.
