We made a deal with elite housing at the end of october of 2002 they promised us long term financing for no more than 650.00 a month, for a manufactured home to be put on our property our credit scores were low they said it didnt matter because they owned the finance company and the dealership, we signed the construction loan papers around december they promised we would be in our house in 6 to 8 weeks, they set the construction loan to close in the middle if feb.

They finally brought the home in april of 2003 thier contractor refused to finish the home set up so they threated us with forclosure if we didnt finish it ourselves there was still alot of work to be done.

When we finally got an occupancy permit un july,then they wrote us a letter saying they could no longer provide financing for us that we would have to start makling rent payments of 850.00 month while the interest onn the construction loan was about 1500.00 a month.

We demanded a 30 mortgage as promised by derrick longson of elite housing and told them we would turn them into the fbi then by some miracle we were eligible for financing again.
the loan papers they wanted us to sign we false saying we made more money than we did and that we had more money in the bank than we did, so they forclosed on us when we refused to sign.

Taking from us 9000.00 in cash our property and our home.

In rebutal to the letter submitted by Rhonda Fox, any reader will be interested to know the facts that were overlooked in her complaint:

1. Persons buying homes from Elite Housing can obtain financing wherever they choose. Cornerstone Capital is a mortgage brokerage with experience in doing loans on manufactured homes and buyers choosing to use them may do so.

2. This home was ordered with raw sheet rock, so the homeowner could finish it on site as per his request. The delay in completion of the home was due to his inability to do the dry wall as he had agreed. No final inspection could be done until the work was completed.

3. Upon completion of the home, final paperwork was submitted for the 30 year loan. Their credit scores were much lower, due to new collections and Rhonda having quit her job. Financing could not be done until the credit scores were improved. The construction lender agreed to carry the note and receive payments at the original amount until long-term financing could be completed.

4. Foreclosure occurred only after Rhonda lived in the home for nearly 18 months without making one payment.
