Complaint Review: Elite Van Lines

This report is for all who have been victimized by elite van lines and their sister company, majesty moving and storage.

DO NOT USE THESE COMPANYS FOR ANY REASON

My girlfriend and I were victims of these cronies not too long ago. We had moved from Vermont to Californnia in October of 2001. We were quoted one price and of course we were billed more than double...including the fact that they were three weeks late, never took our calls, lied about where our stuff was, and broke a few things.

So...When they did finally show up (it was majesty moving, not elite van lines) they demanded that we pay them or they would take out stuff. So I paid them, and video taped the entire process. To our surprise the truck was numbered by cubic feet...we were charged for 1050 cubic feet and our estimate was for 650 cf. Our stuff was packed in the very back of the truck...the truck was sectioned out in multiples of 650 cubic feet...and all of our belongings were in one section. This was on the tape and pictures were taken and sent to elite, but no response. we did give them a warning that the situation need to be resolved or the propper authorities would be contacted...

So we collected all of our evidence and passed it to the Federal Motor Carrier Safty Administration and the FBI. Let me just say that Elite Van Lines and Majesty Moving and Storage are just about done. I hope we all get some sort of compensation, but we'll see very soon.

I hope this is of some sort of relief to all who have been screwed by this company. I too will not rest till the crooks get what they deserve...I have not stopped since we have moved. I have spken with the FBI many times about this matter and have been assured that action has been taken.
