Complaint Review: Elizabeth Ruth Big Liz Conjure

 I cannot understand how this accusation could even be given space here. Big Liz is an honest hardworking woman who has put her all into her business and reaping the rewards of her hard work. I have not run into anyone who has had an issue with her or her products. Essential oils will all turn if not used in a timely manner as anyone with any sort of experience knows. I also cannot understand why someone would take offense at a black woman networking and organizing with ( gasp ) other black people . Lastly, anyone who would defend a sham of a so called 'living god' who is so magically incompetent as to not only be arrested for possession but who was working cleaning carpets. I don't know what sort of personal grudge this person is holding against Liz but it doesn't belong here.

 I love The products. I have a plethora of them. They have never gone bad. They are absolutley divine. The owner is nice , caring and very truthful. She is amazing . She is very intelligent and well educated. I am so happy I was led to her and her products. She supports small buisness's in the community. Several stores that are highly loved , trust worthy and are known to carry only the best high Quality products in the community carry her products. Thank you BigLiz for what you do.

This "ripoff" report is clearly written by someone who doesn't like Big Liz and Joseph Alexandar Robicheaux's criticism of E.A Koettings and doesn't describe an actual ripoff or any ethically dubious activity. I think that is obvious to anyone who reads it, but I wanted to rebut it with my experiene getting a reading from Joseph.

I first encountered him when he gave a talk on Voodou at the Morbid Anatomy Museum. I recently got a reading from him, and it was dead on - I gave him a vague overview of a contract negotiation I was about to engage in. He was able to accurately describe the details fo the overall situation - he told me what would happen, what the underlying issues were, and suggested various strategies for getting my desired outcome. The negotiations happened exactly as he said they would, and his advice has been very helpful in working things out. 

I would strongly recommend Joseph Alexandar Robicheaux to anyone looking for a reading. And I would hope anyone reading the above report can see it for what it is - someone who turned to slandering Big Liz and Joseph on substance because they can't disagree with them based on substance.

My experience with Elizabeth Ruth as an individual, Big Liz Conjure as a business, and The Black Craft as a radio show has been nothing short of Amazing! She is the Real Deal. Not everyone appreciates that however. I'm confused as to why the OP believes that calling a show "The Black Craft" is prejudiced considering the topics are about African Traditional Spirituality or African Derived Spirituality. The Black Craft is paying homage to where those particular Religions originated from despite who practices it now. Who'd be angry about that? I supposed the people who would be angry are the people who like to appropriate other people's culture without recognizing or respecting the actual people. This is the type of injustice that Elizabeth Ruth as an individual stands up to and I believe it is also what makes her a target for those "customers" who lack sincerity and spiritual integrity. The same way the Christians appropriated all the of Pagan Holidays and turned them in to "Christian Holidays", then in the same breath have the audacity to complain of some "war on Christmas".  If one celebrates Christmas, then give credit to Yule and the Germanic People. If one recognizes Groundhog's Day give credit to Imbolc and the Irish. If one simply just wants to appropriate then they are not sincere and any complaints fall on deaf ears. 

As far as Big Liz Conjure. Everything that I have purchased from her site has worked for what I needed it to work for. If it didn't work for you....Maybe Spirit knows what "customers" are worthy of its work. 

I will continue to shop from her site, I will continue to follow her page and I will continue to listen to The Black Craft for African Spirituality. 

 The accusations made against Big Liz conjure and her friend Joseph Alexander Robicheaux are simply not true. The person above must work for E.A Koerting. Furthermore I've known big Liz and Joseph for a long time and can tell you that their practices are the real deal. This is the only report against them and it is clearly a backlash for them having outed fakes like EA Koetting. Big Liz and Joseph hold themselves to a higher standard than most and would never sell such poor items as the person claimed.  I have met both Big Liz and Joseph and they were awesome and open to me. I have purchesed products from Big Liz and I have been very pleased with them. I know that there are many folks of color (like myself) who need guidance and understanding from folks of color who are practitioners and willing to give open and honest guidance. I have NEVER heard either of these individuals speak anything negatively about "white" practioners. So YES the show for Black practioners is NEEDED and WANTED. Unfortunately in my experience some "white" folks get sooo very offended by things that have NOTHING to do with them b/c folks of Color have chosen to look to each other for some guidance and there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with it. I have met her friend Bear and I would absolutely without a doubt love to learn from him as well and he was an awesome spirit to be around. So in closing I believe this individual post is both racially motivate (and yes I am saying you are a racist) and homophobic! If you were unsatisfied by the reading and products you should have contacted Big Liz as I am sure she would have made things right!  Is is hilarious that someone would abuse something like Rip Off Report when they have not been ripped off at all. The person who placed this report is simply not telling the truth. Sometimes clients don't like readings. They may not agree with the interpretation or they might not want to hear what you have to say. All this person says is that they are not impressed. A person is ripped off when they pay for something and they did not receive the services or products they were promised. This person received their service and products. As far as the oils are concerned, they are made from all-natural products. They don't have preservatives. It is expected that they be used in timely manner. You would have to have one of my oils for well over a year for it to expire. If they did not plan to use it in a timely manner, why did they buy it? Do people take milk to the store when they allow it to go bad? I've never made any claims to Louisiana Voodoo. I am not from Louisiana, but Joseph has lived there several times. So, it is very obvious that this person has no idea about our personal biographies. I was born in Chicago, and lived there most of my adult life. I spent my childhood in Ohio, and I live here now. As far as claims of being me prejudiced, my writings, videos, and recordings speak to what I believe in. I am a social justice warrior who refuses to allow anyone of any color or to appropriate my religion or mistreat someone due to race. As far as Haitian Vodou Is concerned, I fully admit that I am not initiate, but I will be soon, and can point anyone who questions about this to my Mambo who lives in Haiti. The person who posted this complaint obviously does not know that you can practice Vodou all your life and never be initiated. Joseph is initiated and can articulate his lineage to anyone who inquires. That is why we have lineages in Vodou, and that is why I am within my rights to inquire about E.A. Koetting's. He claims he can make people "living gods." I can ask how he plans to do that. It is a free country. I can ask those questions in a public manner. As far as "The Black Craft" is concerned, we have stated that our sole purpose is to be ethical and educated providers of spiritual products. We have no intention of removing any podcast, video, etc. because we mean what we say when we open our mouths. We have even invited E.A. to come on our show and speak to us. I am not surprised to see that he has not taken us up on that. This person is using a consumer advocacy site for a personal attack. I am not sure where someone's sexuality has to do with any of this, but the OP seems to have an issue with it. So who is prejudiced here?
