I purchased a new Toyota Camry 2010 on 9/25/09.  I was surprised to find that the brake pedal was soft.  I was concerned, to say the least.  Also I observed that the brake pedal would contact the floor mat in an emergency stop.
When I took the car back to the Elk Grove California Toyota dealer for the accelerator repair, I asked for a new master cylinder.  I was amazed to hear everyone from the mechanic to the service writer (Fred) avow that the weak bake pedal was "normal", and they adamantly refused to replace it.

*Anyone can 'Google' this- NHTSA, and go to their website and get their contact information, right? Mail a 'certified letter' to them so you have PROOF that it was sent & received by NHTSA. Also send a copy of that letter to ABC News in New York, and send one to Toyota's National headquarters in Torrance California, okay?

*SPREAD YOUR Ripoff Report all over the web at sites like- 'TWITTER' & 'FACEBOOK'. You can 'Google' this- TOYOTA TWITTER SLUDGE, and post your letter there, correct?
