Elocal sales called me telling me that they could give me a prime position on google and yahoo
for a first time fee of $168.00 (includes set-up to process order), then if I continue service it would be $89.00 month. I signed up and me and my wife went on-line and never saw our business on-line. My wife called Elocal and spoke to a Customer Service (took forever to get a live person on the phone) and she was helpful and apologized for not having us up on-line. My wife requested that we should get a free month of service since it had been 43 days and no signs of our business on-line (sales agent told us withing the first 30 days we would find our business in Yahoo Local and Google Maps). Somehow our order was not processed. We were told that a free month will be given to us, but we still were charged. My wife called to cancel the service and they never cancelled and I was charged for three months. We spoke to the supervisor, supposedly Shawna and she was no help at all. She said my wife never cancelled when I know she did, I was next to here when she made the call. They charged us for the month we were supposed to get free.

You know it's a shame that companies like this operate the way they do. Customer service is terrible today and this company should not be allowed operate and take advantage of people. I will make sure to take this as far as I can. Elocal charged of a total of $346.00 dollars and all they could say is sorry we can't help you and refund you. It really just pisses me off that they are getting away with this scam.

I did some research and dug up their parent company Search Initiatives and other little entities. Seems like they change names a lot!
