Complaint Review: ELocal Listing LLC

This company is a joke. Boiler room B.S. For every 100 customers they pull in, 100 cancel soon thereafter -- or try to. They have the WORST customer service I have ever witnessed. There are countless disgruntled customers whose calls are frequently ignored -- until the word "sue" comes up.

Lot's of runaround with empty promises. Poorly trained employess, mostly lost souls who arrive there because they can't find real jobs anywhere else. It's a "re-hab rebound" environment. Starting with the original founder "Mr. Todd". The born-again(?) ringmaster who gives weekly pom-pom cheerleading meetings mixed with pseudo-spirituality. All this followed by enticements of "around-the-corner" wealth if you stay and sell your soul for the company.

Upper management hiring is "all-in-the-family". Many familial relations work together under the same roof. Married couples, daughters/sons, in-laws, etc. Can you imagine what kinds of collusion can occur under these circumstances?

The CEO -- "Tiny Tim", (who purchased elocal when it was Zone Com) is a rude, ignorant, petty individual who could make a rabid pit bull seem like a bunny rabbit. His only desire? Sell the company for millions and then run away. To boot, their once Director of Sales was dipping into the company coffers not too long ago to the tune of many thousands while sleeping with his crazy assistant. (He was married w/children.)

Stay away. Don't buy from them, don't work for them. Or you'll eventually be sorry.

In conclusion, this company is nothing but bad news all-around. Someone should warn Yahoo, Google, and other large search companies not to waste their money on this guys. P.S. I am, nor was, a disgruntled employee...word gets around.
