Complaint Review: Eltec uk ltd

Where to start . As an ex employee this might sound like sour grapes , but as i have been chasing my ex employers ( eltec uk ltd ) for wages owed for almost a year now with no joy , apart from the odd reply to my phone calls and e mails saying they will pay me i have given up hope of getting it now . so i will air their dirty laundry in public in the hope it hits them in the pocket like it has me .

As a lift installation company the work they do is of a pretty good standard considering most of the workers were not even eligible to be in the country when they started , but as the years have gone by their names have miraculously changed as most have now become legalised ! 

It is amazing that all the NVQ,s obtained by the remaining employees have been passed by one man that was known to the proprietors beforehand , not that i am suggesting any wrongdoing !! 

Most invoices presented by eltec uk ltd to the client were normally presented before the actual percentage of the work was finished , sometimes this was noticed by the observant site manager , at other times a plain brown envelope given to him  was enough to ensure nvoices were signed !! 

Cash flow is another dirty word for this company . As am employer with employees you would expect us humble sub contractors to be paid one week in arrears , two weeks at the most . But no , the normal excuse was that they had not been paid by whichever client they were working for and as a result employees were sometimes left without wages for 4 or 5 weeks . A result of this was the men got a tad irritated and walked off site putting the job behind schedule . Not greeted very well by the client but normally blamed on builders hold up,s etc .

They have found a novel way to get over their cash flow problems though , they normally use the money obtained from starting another job for a different client to pay for monies owed on the previous job , but it never seems to be enough to pay the wages .

I am sure if you asked a few of the employees , they would back the company up . This is due to the fact they are worried about finding another job with their immigration status or the fact they are owed a lot of money by them and do not want to upset them .

I know for a fact that the oafish , ignorant degenerate bloke they have overseeing their jobs who treats  clients and workers with disdain and is the bosses lap dog will disagree with me . But sometimes the truth hurts !!

If any of these comments are disagreed with , or i have lied then i would welcome comments from the company involved ??? and i will answer them .
