EMachines rebate ripoff Irvine California
Got a letter from emachines/circuitcity rebate offer telling me I was disqualified for my $50.00 rebate because I didn't enclose the bar code (BS). I stapled the bar code to the register receipt (absolutely)from CircuitCity and sent it in. I think its a sham.

I've sent in a number of rebates, and every single one of them has stated explicitly "Do not staple items together," or something similar. The fact that you stapled the UPC to the reciept may be why they didn't think you had included it.
Did you try calling them? Most rebate forms have an 800 number you can call. It's not always helpful, but worth a try.
