Emachines Redeem

I purchassed this Acer latop V5-122P 0468 on 10/18/13 with a copuon I got for faulty emachines equipment.  

A week ago the touch pad stopped working so I tried uninstalling, re-installing drivers and then making the system factory re-installed to no avail.  Then I tried to get support and Acer says the support ended on this machine 10/3/13 which is before I bought it.  They won't accept a phone call, chat and no response to email.  What a rip-off.
