EMarket Research Group ripoff survey to win a free TV but have to commit to countless sales offers Internet
They ask you to fill out a survey to win a free TV. It starts with offers you can decline, and some offers (such as how to decrease student loans) do not even offer secure sites for your personal information. Towards the end of the survey, it says you have to try 2 offers to get the TV.
After you commit to 2 offers, you hope it stops there but it doesn't. The next page was a list among which you had to commit to 2 more offers - the "last step" as they called it. Well, after having bought something I didn't even want, and applying for a credit card I didn't need, I kept going even though I was skeptical so it wouldn't be in vain.
I spent another $13 on S&H charges for free product trials I also didn't need with subscriptions attached I would have to worry about. By the next page, the scam kept going. I finally gave in feeling duped and having spent money on things I didn't even want. They are dishonest for leading people on with their misrepresentation.
