Emartcentral.com Supplied me the wrong battery for my IPOD Nano and wanted to charge me a restocking fee and shipping. Andover Massachusetts

I purchased a battery for my third generation Ipod Nano from emartcentral.com after reading their site for guidance. Emartcentral said on the site they had a battery that was for the third generation Ipod Nano and it would fit my Ipod Nano. I ordered the Kit which included the tools needed to open the Ipod Nano and remove the old battery and install the new. The order arrived and I opened the the package to remove the tools so I could open the Ipod Nano. When I opened the Ipod I noticed the batteries were completely different.

I emailed emartcentral.com and said they sold me the wrong battery. The sales person replied that it was the correct battery. I went online retived a photo of the correct battery and the correct battery number and sent it to the sales person to inform them they were wrong. The sales person replied that if I knew it was the wrong battery why did I open the package. I replied that I had to open the package to remove the tools to open the Ipod to see the battery. I was unbale to open the Ipod prior to receiving the tools. The sales person then sent me their rules on returns.

I explained to the sales person that this was not a return of an item that I didn't want, but a return of an item they made a mistake on by sending me the incorrect battery. Emartcentral.com wanted me to return the opened package, pay a restocking fee and pay for the shipping. This was not right, they sent me the wrong battery and caused the extra cost to their company not me. They also refused to correct the incorrect information on their site concerning their mistake for third generation Ipod batteries.

Garry, I think we have both been duped! I do not hink this company is on the level. My experience the past few days has been bad. they are giving me the same run around too.
