Embarq Communications Ridiculous long distance overcharges on an unlimited plan multiple times Las Vegas Nevada
to make a long and frustrating story short for my house number in a nutshell today was the 5th time i had to call in to complain about my bill
That's 5 bills
seems every time i get a bill from them since i moved 5 months ago, the bill had charged me hundreds of dollars for a service that i am supposed to get for 45 bucks per month
every time I call they say it'll be fixed and they credit the acct and then next bill comes and i have to go thru it again
THE FIRST BILL WAS FOR $600 and they say that they put me into a long distance plan and not the unlimited plan but wouldn't take off the company callwave that charged me for a service i never used when today a rep reversed the charges
on top of 2 companies i told to cancel me because i havent used their service

super rep. or who ever you are. aparently the person did call and complain to fix it. you say just call us we'll fix it... well aparently thats not true since it didnt get fixed for at least 5 months.. so can you come up with something better? I think not

So heres the problem with Unlimited Long Distance HUGE BILLS!
First I'd like to explain a few of the complexities.
There are two billing systems one for Long Distance one for local.
The new customers orders are done on the local sytem then it feeds on posting day to the Long distance system.
For some strange reason sometimes the system feeding the LD Plan does not send the proper plan and it will default to whats called standard weekends. The Standard weekends chargeds 40cent per min during the week and 25 cents per min Saturdays and 10 cents per min Sundays
All you have to do if this happens to you is just call us we will fix it and rerate your billing. In the 5 years I've been here 4 of which weve had unld this happening has lessened so we are aware of the issue although sometimes computers and people do make mistakes we are only human. We are not deliberatly doing this to our customers from our perspective we hate it as much as you do. We will fix it just give us a shot. If you happen to get a dumb rep who doesn't fix it ask for their sup. I've fixed hundreds of bills with this problem my self prersonally.
Again we will fix it give us a shot!
