EMBARQ Cramming, deceptive practices by adding long distance charges when I purchased a free long distance bundle package: can you say FRAUD Henderson Nevada
I was a customer of Sprint telephone. In 2006/2007 they merged and became sprint/embarq and next thing I know I am getting charged with long distance charges even though I had a free long distance bundle package for local, long distance and high speed internet.
I immediatley brought this to their attention and they clearly saw their mistake and promised to remove these charges. Every month since January 2007 I complained to the company. Every month I kept getting more and more charges 200, 300 , 400 and now $500.
I paid my current charges which included my free long distance by the fraudulent charges remained. In September of 2007 I had a conversation with an EMBARQ representive and she said all I owed was $120.00 and they will remove it from my bill.
I moved In October 2007 asked for my final bill gave them a change of address. I keep receiving bills from them every month with a higher amount.
I call each time and keep getting the run around.
Today, I just received another bill I call and was told that it was sent to collections. This bill is not a collection bill. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisior and immediately was treated rudely.
When I asked for the corporate address and phone number I was told that they do not have one. Thats when I told her about the fraud that is going on and I am going to help blow the whistle on them.
I am tired of this corporate run around , and I am not going to take it anymore. thank you for this outlet. I will be contacting The Public Service Commission in Nevada tomorrow.
