EMC Mortgage Corp. Our house if financed by EMC Mortgage Corp., they bought it from AMC. They are saying that we are behind 7 months on our mortgage. We have been sending payments every month, but they have not been posting them. What is the deal Every time i speak to them, they say that we are behind. We received a letter in the mail a while back stating that ASC (America Servicing Co.) sold our mortgage to EMC Mortgage Corp. EMC is saying that we are 7 months behind on our Mortgage and every time i speak to them they say that theres nothing they can do and are very rude. We have been paying our mortgage every month and have proof of every payment. They have sent us court papers stating foreclose if $7000 is not paid up front. Something has to be done with these people. This is wrong and these people have to be stopped.

If you have proof that you paid then it sounds like it's time to get a real estate lawyer and sue for damages. [I wouldn't sit around and wait until I was served.] Maybe "Timothy of Valpraiso" can interject...
