Complaint Review: EMC Mortgage

**On June 17, 2005 we received a letter dated June 10, 2005 from EMC Mortgage Corporation stating that they had bought our loan from AMC Mortgage Services, Inc. on June 6, 2005.

**Our payment of $873.14 was due on June 1, 2005 to AMC, which was mailed to AMC with their statement and the check cleared our bank on June 7, 2005.

** We have continuously received phone calls about that payment. I was even asked to get the payment from AMC, believe it or not. They seem to think we are always a month late in payments because they have never posted that first check.

**We mailed EMC copies of the checks, front and back; AMC Mortgage Services, Inc. even took out that last check in June electronically. I have all the paperwork and am forwarding copies of all that to the Texas Attorney General's office. These folks are RIPOFFS with a Capial "R".

**Oh, and I was even told by one of the callers, a man, not to worry we would not receive any more phone calls, they would take care of the situation and give us credit.... back in June.

**All this started back in June 1, 2005; this is Jan. 7, 2006 and it is still going on. I just received a phone call again this morning. All our payments are applied to the month before and all statements reflect we a a payment late.

**Someone needs to do something about these folks. I am contacting "DateLine", 60 Minutes, Bill O'Reilly, etc. to try and shed some light on this situation.
