Mark Bocinski, an agent for Emerald card services came out to my house and sold me a credit card machine. He told me I would pay on it for a year then it would be mine. I told him I didnt know how much our business would use the machine. Then he said after 3 months if we didnt use it i could call them back to pick it up. All I would have to pay would have been for those 3 months. When i called the company, they told me i had to pay for the whole year. so I did. Then one day I had a customer who wanted to charge the job. So I tried calling the company to help me use the machine, but couldnt get a hold of anyone. So i looked online to see if I could find a new phone # for them. Thats when i saw all the complaints against this company. So i called my bank and reported them. And told the company to pick up the machine.

Since then they have been harassing me 2 to 3 times a day for payment, and they tell me i signed a non cancellable leese. They tell me one thing and do another.

this is a common scam ( leasing a cc machine for 20 times its value)

check out mps and a-1 leasing for more insight into how this works

Do you have Mark Bocinski personal info ( he came to your home, so he knows your personal info)

I would suggest ( next time for anyone reading this) to request the sales persons id ( drivers lic for example ) with their home address on it.

more than likely they will refuse and take off like they were cought with their hands in the cookie jar.

after all, they know where you live, so why not have their info if they are ligit.

that way if there is a problem, you can "deal" with them directly.

if you can find Mark Bocinski, take him to small claims court, just the threat of that mite get you off the hook.
