We took our infant to Emerald City Model and Talent and was told they had a lot of jobs for her we only had to pay $600.00 for pictures. We thought the price was too high and were going to leave and were told by John Harb that he would do it for $400.00. We thought in lieu of all the jobs that would be coming up that we would do it for $400.00. It was a total scam, it has been a year now since we had the pictures done and we have not heard anything from the agency. I emailed John at one point to ask what was going on and he said that he had just put our baby up for a Dental commercial. She didn't even have teeth! Needless to say we never heard anything after that either. We get told on a daily basis how beautiful our daughter is and she should have at least had some auditions. To all of you out there that are thinking about putting yourself or your children in modeling do not go to the Emeral City Model and Talent Agency they are a total scam and rip off.

In this business, there are no guarantees; however, we work very hard to expose our talent to elite casting directors whom we have been affiliated with for 25 years. What we do is start a portfolio to get your foot in the door, and send your information to casting calls. We have no control over who the clients pick, but we want our talent to be picked so we get our agency commission. Our portfolios do NOT cost $600.00, the bare minimum for the headshot (which is filed in our database, up on our website, and taken with you to every audition) is $200.00; if you choose the composite card (which is 4 photos that show more versatility) it is $400.00. We did NOT submit a baby for a dentist commercial. That is exaggerated, as most reviews on the internet are to make things seem 10 times worse.
