Back in April of 2012, I had decided to try to make some momre money in the insurance sales industry and went to a local Mass Mutual agent in Clifton NJ.  I had a temporary part time agreement that I was under and decided to try it out.  If I liked it, I could become a full time career agent.  If not, I could keep my then present position with another insurance company where I was very successful.

The next 1-2 weeks, I was doing weel, but I remained undecided about giving up my position and starting over again with Emerald Financial.  Sensing that hesitancy, the VP of the company coerced me into signing a letter of resignation with my then current employer based upon certain promises expressed and implied including morfe income, management opportunity and quick policy approvals.  All were false but got me to resign my previous position.  I was also supposed to receive full time sales agreement but did not until more than 30 days elapsed.

By then, middle of May 2012, I realized things were not kosher and called my previous employer who informed me that they could not hire me back.  I was devastated and extrememly upset.  I went upon those representations and warranties told to me verbally by the firm's VP Mr. Trabucco.  In fact, between the time I resigned until the time I received the full time contyract, my securities licenses had expired and now I could not be licensed toi sell securities further hampering my ability to make income as a financial advisor.

My wife and I were so upset that we complained on sevceral occassions to the corporate office of Mass Mutual Life in Springfield, Mass but alas, they did nothing but to take the side of the General Agent Mr. Vesuvio who never once apologized for ruining me financially and sending rude and arrogant emails to me blaming this fiasco on me.

Of course I would have taken a huge pay cut, gave up all of my other company benefits and jeopardized my family's financial well being for nothing.  Right, sure.  I will not let these people get away with this and warn other sales people not to work or do business with Mass Mutual Life or any of their agencies.

Shame on you Emerald Financial, Mass Mutual Life, Michael Vesuvio and Michael Trabucco. Also, if there are other agents past or present from Mass Mutual out there, reach out to me here.  We need to stand up to their promises that never came through. Lastly, I have emails and all of their promises made to me to substantiate these allegations.  No human being gives up a salaried job of $70,000 per year for no reason!

I also have a letter between myself and the general agent saying I will resign my former position on the same date as receiving their full time career sales agent contract.  They lied.  I kept my end of the contract but did NOT receive a full time contract until  the following month!
