Complaint Review: Emerald towing Black Lake towing Rollins&I.K.A.N.auto

Personal property of mine was recently discovered in a bldg. in Tacoma.The personal property is a fiberglass car body and frame.It is called an Astra.  Year:1963.  Use: for off road only. Vintage class, road racing.

The owner of the bldg.:Chris Pickens   Also owner of IKAN auto wrecking & Black Lake Towing. TPD detective makes contact, no warrant was issued for some reason. Pickens admitted it was my car. He felt that I owed him money so he took it and planned on keeping it. I informed police I did not owe Pickens one red cent, that he owed me for other personal property he had taken and sold.

The police order Pickens to return car within 7 days. Date:Aug 17th. I wait 1 week & no return calls, no contact, no race car.  I contact police. They contact Pickens. He had Mike Rollins, a friend of his, impound my property on the 18th. Day after order.

I go out to Emerald towing, owned by Mike Rollins (as well a Rollins wrecking yd)and inform them the tow was illegal and I want my property.They say the bill is $730.00 & I need to show paperwork. I do have the original MSO for this body and frame.  The catch 22 here is that it is not a 'vehicle' per say, never titled for road use, no vin # and Pickens had removed the small identifier tag from the dash. So Rollins says no vin to match paper work to, he is keeping my body and frame.

I have owned this property for 29 years. Everyone in the community knows it is mine.No one even disputes that fact. Yet this tactical move by Rollins and Pickens is going to allow them to steal my property.  No two licensed tow truck opperators are suppose to slide cars back and forth like this, it is a forbidden act acording to the RCW. The WSP is suppose to control these guys.WSP is standing behind them on this and refuse to help me in any way.

Tacoma Police: they say its not in Tacoma anymore and they refuse to help cleanup the mess they made by not getting a search warrant, going in, getting my car, and checking all the others in the bldg. to see how many of those were stolen as well. So this leaves me with good old Mr.Smith and Mr.Wesson.Police can't do it,watch this!!
