Complaint Review: Emeraldlux

While browsing the internet, I got a pop-up about the Emeraldlux Electronic Cigarette.  $4.95 for a trial offer.  I thought good marketing and took them up on their offer.  The product was marginal.  The cigarettes did not last but a few hours and the product did not stay charged very long.  Well, tucked away in the fine print was that if you did not cancel you would be charged $114.95 for the 5 cartridges and the little charger.  So, I went to call them to see if perhaps I could get a refund and to even offer send send them the charger back.  Their response "No Deal."  When I called, I was on hold for about 15 minutes and got hung up on.  I called back and finally got through.  If you get this pop-up (Emeraldlux) either ignore or, at least, dig deep into the fine print.  Don't get ripped-off!
