Scamed, I was tricked by one of Emergemastercard's fradulent companies,National asset management.

I thought here is the opportunity to pay off my debt and try to restore my credit,so i jumped on the chance to settle, hell $800
is a lot less than $1000.

The ever helpful collection agent finalized the deal by stating
well ms harris you will have paid off your debt to emerge and this will be erased from your credit report,so i paid, that was january 2003, now i'm no idiot so several times i attempted to have this agreement faxed to me unsuccessfully.

Now i recieve a call from another collection agency saying that i haven't paid off my account. After calling national asset management several times i am still recieving the run- around,
now they tell me that i owe another 600 dollars and the account will be settled, and in the meantime my credit is being held hostage. well i have had all that i can stand and i won't be a victim any longer!

National asset management scam artists they will not help you

Consumer beware national asset management(nam)will not help you. I've been trying repeatedly to have information faxed regarding balances supposedly due from me and after speaking to four different representatives and receiving four different balances I am convinced I am being scamed!

I was even told just this morning that "we aren't just going to send you information you have to pay for it" this after requesting documents promised stating I've settled my account, now I thought settled meant paid not still owes money, and don't respectable companies send out balance statements instead of double talk?
