Complaint Review: Emerge Mastercard

I have had a Providian account since 2001, Providian letter (10/2001) states, "due to strategic changes within our business we will be transferring you credit card account to Emerge Mastercard"

I have never received a new credit card from this weird company,customer service speaks very poor english and the only answer I get is "YOUR ACCOUNT IS CLOSED"

There has been NO communication from this "emerge company"

I get a monthly statement, they just want me to pay and shut up
